What does a blacklisted IP mean?
Receiving servers consult lists such as Spamhaus and reject or junk mail from listed IPs.
How do I get delisted?
Fix the cause (compromised site, open form, bought list), then request removal via the list link. Many listings expire in 1–7 days.
Why do public resolvers give wrong answers?
Spamhaus and URIBL refuse public resolvers (8.8.8.8, 1.1.1.1) and return a refusal code that looks like a listing. We query the list servers directly.
